Common questions
Do we need a data warehouse?
No. Reporting runs against the live record with read replicas for heavy queries. If you already have Snowflake or BigQuery, a managed export keeps it fed.
Who can see what?
Report permissions inherit from the student record, so a department chair sees their students and a dean sees their college. Small cell sizes are suppressed by default.
Can we keep Tableau or Power BI?
Yes. A governed semantic layer is exposed through a read-only connection so your existing BI investment keeps working.
How current is the data?
Operational dashboards read live data. Cohort and forecast models refresh nightly and display their last run time.
