Capabilities

What it does

Dynamic course scheduling

A graph-based solver detects faculty, room, equipment and cohort conflicts while you build, and proposes the smallest change that resolves them.

Registration & waitlist automation

Registration windows, prerequisites and holds are enforced at the moment of the click. When a seat opens, the next eligible student is offered it by SMS and email.

Real-time degree audit

Requirements are modeled once, then evaluated continuously. Students see a visual progress map; advisors see the same map with intervention tools attached.

At-risk flagging

Attendance, grade, engagement and registration signals combine into a single risk flag that opens an advising case instead of a report.

Records, transcripts & compliance

Official transcript requests, enrollment verifications and FERPA disclosure logs are handled in the record system, with every access event captured.

Catalog & curriculum governance

Curriculum proposals move through committee approval into the live catalog with effective dating, so a catalog year always reproduces exactly.

Workflow

How work moves

  1. 01

    Catalog set

Programs, requirements and prerequisites are modeled once per catalog year with effective dating.

  2. 02

    Schedule built

Conflicts surface while the schedule is drafted, not after students complain.

  3. 03

    Students register

Eligibility, holds and capacity are enforced live; waitlists fill themselves.

  4. 04

    Progress audited

Degree audits refresh nightly and on every grade or registration change.

  5. 05

    Risk actioned

Flags create advising cases with a named owner and a tracked outcome.

FAQ

Common questions

Can we model unusual requirements?

Yes. Requirements support nested groups, credit and course-count minimums, GPA conditions, residency rules, exclusions and per-student substitutions with approval trails.

How does this work with our LMS?

Sections, rosters and final grades sync bidirectionally with Canvas, Moodle and Blackboard. Enrollment changes propagate within minutes, not overnight.

Do students get their own view?

Every student has a self-service portal with registration, degree progress, holds, grades, billing and aid — the same data the registrar sees, filtered by role.

Can we run a parallel term during migration?

That is the standard path. One full registration cycle runs side by side with your legacy SIS, with a reconciliation report on every record.
